RARE 1968 GUNTHERS MOBILIA WHITE GLASS GLOBE ON BRONZE DISH FLOATING on STAVED WOOD PILLAR TABLE LAMP

The globe measures about 8 inches across  at its widest is about  12 1/2” / the base is3 .25 to 3.75” in diameter.  The globe sits on a kind of bronze dish which floats in kind of a unique way, very cleverly, above the staved wood pillar of the base, which is a heavy wood to ground at all. it’s a cool piece. My favourite view of this table lamp is a from a little bit of a distance so you can see that floating globe on the top from afar to great effect.

Manufacturer/ Origin: sold in 1968 in the finest Danish Modern/ Scandinavian Design store in Calgary known as Gunther's Mobilia
