VINTAGE MID CENTURY WEST GERMAN RUSCHA 'DOMINO' CERAMIC DISH DECOR DESIGNED BY CILLI WÖRSDÖRFER FORM #417/2 1950s MODERNIST

This is Ruscha ceramic dish/bowl in Domino decor from the mid century.

The modernist 'Domino' decor is characterized by free-form lines of different widths, which stand out against the white background with hand-painted yellow dots. The Domino series was designed by Cilli Wörsdörfer in the 1950s, some 70 years ago.

Check out the picture of the base closeup....how wonderful and unique are the embedded wooden tube legs into the ceramic construction! very cool!
